Gary Wright was an American musician and composer born in 1943 in the United States. He rose to fame with his 1976 hits "Dream Weaver" and "Love Is Alive" His breakthrough album The Dream Weaver followed seven years spent in London, where he was a member of the band Spooky Tooth and a solo artist on A&M Records . Wright also formed a friendship with George Harrison, with whom he collaborated on the album "All Things Must Pass" He subsequently explored world music and the new age genre, leaving a significant mark on rock music.
