FTISLAND is a South Korean rock band formed in 2007 by FNC Entertainment . The band's name stands for Five Treasure Island . Their debut album, Cheerful Sensibility became the sixth best-selling album in the Republic of Korea in 2007, and the song " Lovesick " topped the Korean pop charts for six consecutive weeks. The band also achieved success in Japan, becoming the first foreign boy group to top Japan's Oricon Daily Chart . FTISLAND has made a significant contribution to the popularization of Korean rock on the international stage.
