Fran Healy (full name Francis Healy ) is a Scottish musician, born July 23, 1973. He is best known as the lead singer and songwriter of Travis , one of the key UK folk rock bands. In 2010, Fran Healy released his debut solo album, Wreckorder , which received positive reviews from critics. Travis is known for such hits as "Why Does It Always Rain on Me?" and "Sing" . Fran Healy has made a significant contribution to the development of folk rock, both as a member of the band and in his solo career.
