Ferras is an American pop singer and songwriter from Los Angeles, California, born in 1982. He gained recognition with his single "Hollywood's Not America", featured as the exit song during the semifinals of the 7th season of American Idol. The track is part of his debut album, "Aliens & Rainbows". In 2014, Ferras became the first artist signed to Unsub Records, a subsidiary of Capitol Records founded by Katy Perry. That same year, he released a self-titled EP under the label. Ferras has made notable contributions to the pop genre with his emotive songwriting and distinctive voice.
