Fernando Varela is an American operatic and classical crossover tenor born on May 1, 1980. Known for his versatility, he has performed in staged operas, as part of the classical crossover trio Forte Tenors, and as a solo artist. As a soloist, he has toured globally with David Foster and completed a European tour in 2016. In 2017, he debuted his PBS special "Fernando Varela: Coming Home", performed at the Grammy Museum gala honoring David Foster, and joined Sarah Brightman for the Royal Christmas Gala tour. His contributions have enriched the classical crossover genre with global appeal.
