Fermin IV is a Mexican rapper and evangelical pastor, born on December 22, 1974. He rose to prominence as a member of the hip-hop group Control Machete , with whom he received a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Rock Song in 2000 for the song "Sí señor" The group's album "Mucho Barato" was certified platinum by the RIAA. In his solo career, Fermin IV has twice won the Arpa Award for Best Urban Album, in 2003 and 2018. His work has had a significant influence on the development of Mexican hip-hop.
