
Ferlin Husky was an American country music artist born on December 3, 1925, in the United States. Known as one of the pioneers of modern country music, he recorded over 30 albums and released more than 50 singles, with three of them reaching the top of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Husky also earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. With over 20 million records sold, his contributions to the genre remain significant, blending country and pop influences to shape its evolution.
