Faraquet was an American post-hardcore band from Washington, D.C., that existed from 1997 to 2001. The band was released on Dischord Records and had a significant influence on the development of the math rock genre. During their existence, the band released several albums that received acclaim in the underground music scene. After Faraquet disbanded, two members—Devin Ocampo and Chad Molter—continued their musical careers as part of the band Medications . Faraquet left a significant mark on the genre, combining complex musical structures with emotional depth.
