Falkenbach is a German-Icelandic metal project founded in 1989. The band is considered one of the pioneers of the Viking metal genre, combining elements of folk music with a powerful metal sound. The founder and sole constant member of the project is Vratyas Vakyas . Falkenbach has released several albums, including works such as "...En Their Medh Riki Fara..." and "Ok Nefna Tysvar Ty" which have gained recognition in the underground metal scene. The project is known for its lyrics inspired by Norse mythology and history. Falkenbach has made a significant contribution to the development and popularization of Viking metal, becoming a cult name in the genre.
