Exodus is an American thrash metal band formed in 1979 in Richmond, USA. The band is considered one of the founders of the thrash metal genre. Over the course of its existence, Exodus has experienced numerous lineup changes, two breakups, and the tragic death of one of its vocalists. Guitarist Гэри Холт became a key figure in the band, remaining its only constant member and appearing on all of its releases. However, in 2012, he temporarily replaced Джеффа Ханнемана in Slayer , which affected his participation in Exodus tours. The band made a significant contribution to the development of thrash metal, inspiring many followers.
