Урош Умек , known as Umek , is a Slovenian musician, DJ, and producer, born May 16, 1976. He is a key figure in the techno and house music genres. Umek began his career in the 1990s and quickly became known for his innovative sets and production. His tracks, such as "Gatex" and "Poseidon" have received international acclaim. Umek also founded the 1605 label, which became a platform for promoting electronic music. His contributions to the development of techno have made him one of the most influential artists in the genre.
