Ernesto Lecuona is a Cuban composer and virtuoso pianist, born in 1895 in Havana, Cuba. He is the author of over 600 works, including popular compositions in the world classical and Latin American genres. Among his most famous works are "Malagueña" and "Andalucía" which have become classics and are performed worldwide. Lecuona also wrote music for theater and film, cementing his status as one of Cuba's most influential composers. His contribution to the development of Latin American music remains significant and inspires musicians to this day.
