She graduated from the Гнесиных Music and Pedagogical College in vocals and began her career at Архангельской филармонии . Early in her career, she received the approval of Самуила Маршака , which became an important moment in her literary career. Мошковская is known for her children's poems, which remain popular in Russian-language literature. Her contribution to the development of children's poetry in the USSR is difficult to overstate.
