Elizabeth Fraser is a Scottish singer and songwriter born in 1963. She is best known as the lead vocalist of the band Cocteau Twins , which achieved international success in the dream pop genre. The band's albums, such as Victorialand and Heaven or Las Vegas , reached the top ten of the UK charts and also received acclaim in the US. In addition to her work with Cocteau Twins , she collaborated with This Mortal Coil , performing on the single " Song to the Siren ," and with Massive Attack on their hit " Teardrop ."
