Электрофорез is a Russian synth-pop band founded in 2012 in St. Petersburg by Ivan Kurochkin and Vitaly Talyzin. The band has released three full-length albums, six EPs, and nine singles. Their music combines the dark sounds of synth-pop and darkwave with decadent lyrics and Ivan Kurochkin's unique vocals. The band began with experimental lo-fi electronica, gradually developing a more powerful and restrained sound. Электрофорез is considered one of the leading projects in the new wave of Russian independent music, attracting attention with its aesthetics and sonic experimentation.
