Эдита Пьеха is a Soviet and Russian singer of Polish descent, born in 1937. She is a People's Artist of the USSR and one of the most famous performers of the Russian pop scene. Эдиты Пьехи career began in 1955 with performances in the Leningrad Conservatory student ensemble, later known as «Дружба» Her repertoire includes over 500 songs, including "Our Neighbor," "City of Childhood," and "Manzherok."
