
Edgar Froese was a German composer and musician born in 1944. He became one of the pioneers of electronic music and a key figure in the Berlin School of Electronic Music. Throughout his career, Froese fronted the band Tangerine Dream , which had a significant influence on the development of the genre. Among his best-known works are the albums "Phaedra" and "Rubycon" which became milestones in electronic music. His contributions to the electronic genre and his experiments with synthesizers have made him a cult figure in the music industry.
