
Eddy Louiss (also known as Эдди Льюис or Эдди Луис ) is a French jazz organist and pianist, born May 2, 1941. Early in his career, he was the lead singer of the band Les Double Six from 1961 to 1963. His mastery of the organ and piano made him a prominent figure in the French jazz scene. Eddy Louiss collaborated with such prominent musicians as Stan Getz and Kenny Clarke and recorded several albums that have become classics of the genre. His contribution to jazz music remains significant, particularly due to his unique style of organ playing. Eddy Louiss passed away on June 30, 2015.
