
Eddie Harris (also known as Эдди Харрис ) was an American jazz musician, born on October 20, 1934, in the United States. He was a master of the tenor saxophone and one of the first to use the electric saxophone. Harris also played the electric piano, organ, and other instruments. His composition "Freedom Jazz Dance" became famous thanks to a 1966 recording Miles Davis . Another of his hits, "Listen Here" also received wide recognition. Eddie Harris made a significant contribution to the development of jazz, experimenting with electronics and expanding the boundaries of the genre.
