Dusko Goykovich is a Serbian jazz trumpeter born in 1931 in Jajce, Yugoslavia (modern-day Bosnia and Herzegovina). Known for his contributions to the European jazz scene, he began his career in the 1950s, performing with prominent bands such as the Big Band of Radio Belgrade. Later, he joined the Kenny Clarke/Francy Boland Big Band, gaining international recognition. His notable albums include "Swinging Macedonia" and "Soul Connection". Goykovich's work blends Balkan folk influences with classic jazz, leaving a lasting impact on the genre.
