Draconian is a Swedish gothic doom metal band formed in 1994. Hailing from Sweden, the band is known for its dark and melancholic sound, inspired by bands such as My Dying Bride , Tristania , and early Theatre of Tragedy . The band consists of Anders Jacobsson (male vocals), Lisa Johansson, Johan Eriksson, Jerry Torstensson, Niklas Nord, and Daniel Arvidsson. Draconian has released several albums, including Arcane Rain Fell and A Rose for the Apocalypse , which have received acclaim within the genre. The band has made significant contributions to the development of gothic doom metal, combining heavy riffs with melodic elements and duet vocals.
