Дос-Мұқасан is a Soviet-Kazakh vocal and instrumental ensemble founded in 1967 by students of the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute in Bayanaul. The group's founders were Досым Сулеев , Мурат Кусаинов , Хамит Санбаев , and Александр Литвинов . The ensemble performed pop music, combining traditional Kazakh motifs with modern instrumental arrangements. Over time, members such as Дарига Турсунова , Шарип Омаров , and others joined the group. Дос-Мұқасан became a symbol of Kazakh musical culture, leaving a significant mark on the history of Soviet pop music.
