Dorothy Fields (1905–1974) was an American-born librettist and lyricist. She was one of the first women to achieve success writing lyrics for Broadway musicals and Hollywood films. Dorothy Fields won an Academy Award for her song "The Way You Look Tonight" from the film "Время свинга" . She was also nominated for the song "Lovely to Look At" from the film of the same name. Her work made a significant contribution to the development of soundtracks and vocal music, leaving an indelible mark on American cultural history.
