Dope Lemon is the stage name of Australian musician, singer-songwriter, and producer Angus Stone, born on April 27, 1986. Known for his work in the alternative and indie genres, he is also one half of the acclaimed duo Angus & Julia Stone, which has released four studio albums. His solo career began under the alias Lady of the Sunshine, with the debut album Smoking Gun (2009) reaching the ARIA top 50. Later, his 2012 album Broken Brights, released under his own name, peaked at number 2. As Dope Lemon, he continues to craft music that enriches the indie scene.
