
Donna Loren is an American singer and actress born in 1947. Known for her work in the 1960s, she gained fame as the "Dr Pepper Girl" from 1963 to 1968. She was the lead vocalist on the TV show Shindig! and appeared in the American International Pictures Beach Party film series. In 1964, she signed with Capitol Records, releasing several singles and the soundtrack album Beach Blanket Bingo, which featured her signature song "It Only Hurts When I Cry." Her contributions to pop and rock 'n' roll helped define the era's relaxed and youthful sound.
