DJ Sammy is a Spanish DJ and music producer born on October 19, 1969. Known for his work in electronic and dance music, he gained international fame with his cover of Bryan Adams' song "Heaven", which reached number one in the UK in 2002. Early in his career, he collaborated with his former wife, Marie-José van der Kolk, under the moniker DJ Sammy featuring Carisma.
