He gained fame as one half of the duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, alongside Will Smith. The pair achieved widespread success in the late 1980s and early 1990s, winning the first-ever Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance with their hit "Parents Just Don't Understand". Other notable tracks include "Summertime", which remains a summer anthem.
