Diablo is a Finnish melodic death/groove metal band, founded in 1995 under the name Diablo Brothers . The band achieved significant success in their home country, particularly with the release of their fourth album, Mimic47 , in January 2006, which reached number one on the Finnish charts. Their fifth studio album, Icaros , released on May 14, 2008, reached number two on the national charts. Diablo is known for their unique blend of melodic death and groove metal, which has made them an important part of the Finnish metal scene.
