Desi Arnaz (1917–1986) was a Cuban-born American actor, musician, and television producer. Born in Cuba, he rose to prominence as the leader of Desi Arnaz Orchestra , which performed Latin American music, jazz, and pop. His career reached its peak with his role as Ricky Ricardo in the cult sitcom Я люблю Люси , co-starring with Lucille Ball, his then-wife. Desi Arnaz contributed significantly to the popularization of Latin American music in the United States and became a pioneer in television production.
