Derek Minor (born Derek Johnson ) is an American Christian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, actor, and screenwriter, born December 16, 1984. He co-founded the hip-hop label Reflection Music Group with Doc Watson . In 2011, he signed with Reach Records as part of a joint venture between the two labels. In 2012, he changed his stage name from Pro to Derek Minor . After his contract with Reach Records ended in 2014, he continued to release music independently. Derek Minor has made significant contributions to the development of Christian hip-hop.
