Dennis Edwards (1943–2018) was an American soul and R&B singer, best known as the frontman of the Motown Records group The Temptations . He joined the group in 1968, replacing David Ruffin , and performed with them at various points: from 1968 to 1976, from 1980 to 1984, and from 1987 to 1989. In 1984, he launched a solo career, releasing the hit single "Don't Look Any Further" . Until his death, Dennis Edwards was the lead singer of The Temptations Review . His contributions to the soul and R&B genres remain significant.
