Decapitated is a Polish death/groove metal band formed in Krosno in 1996. The band is considered one of the leaders of the Polish extreme metal scene, alongside Behemoth and Vader . Over the course of their career, the band has released several albums, including "Winds of Creation" and "Organic Hallucinosis" which have received acclaim in the metal community. Known for their technical mastery and complex musical structures, Decapitated is a significant figure in the death metal genre. Their contribution to the development of extreme music continues to inspire new generations of musicians.
