De/Vision is a German musical duo founded in July 1988. The band works in the synth-pop, future-pop, and electro genres, but their unique sound, which they describe as progressive pop-rock, sets them apart from other electronic acts. De/Vision draws inspiration from crossover, techno, trance, and hip-hop, making them one of the forefathers of electro-pop-rock in Germany. Their music combines melody and atmosphere with lyrics steeped in love. De/Vision have made a significant contribution to the development of the electronic scene while remaining true to the high quality of their work.
