David J is a British musician, producer, and writer born on April 24, 1957. Known for his contributions to alternative rock, he is the bassist of the gothic rock band Bauhaus and the group Love and Rockets. Beyond his work with these bands, David J has composed scores for various plays and films. He also wrote and directed his own theatrical productions, including "Серебро за золото" in 2008 and "Певичка и муза дьявола" in 2011, which was staged at REDCAT in Los Angeles. His work has significantly shaped the gothic and alternative rock genres.
