Дато (real name Давид Худжадзе ) is a Georgian singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, born June 25, 1975. He performs pop music with elements of soul, disco, jazz, reggae, and world music. Дато has released three studio albums and has been repeatedly named "Singer of the Year" in Georgia. He won the Grand Prix at the Славянский Базар festival and the Audience Award at Голос Азии festival. His work has made a significant contribution to the popularization of Georgian music internationally.
