Dara (real name Sandra Park) is a Korean singer and actress, born on November 12, 1984, in the Republic of Korea. She rose to prominence as a member of the popular girl group 2NE1 , which was active from 2009 to 2016 and made a significant contribution to the development of K-pop. As part of the group, Dara contributed to such hits as "I Am the Best" and "Come Back Home" After 2NE1 disbandment, she continued her solo career and actively appeared in films and television. Dara is considered a K-pop icon for her contribution to popularizing the genre internationally.
