Danilo Perez (or Данило Перес ) is a Panamanian jazz pianist and composer born in 1965. He is known for his contribution to modern jazz, combining traditional Panamanian rhythms with elements of classical and jazz music. Perez has collaborated with legends such as Wayne Shorter and Dizzy Gillespie and has released several solo albums, including "Central Avenue" and "Motherland" His work has received critical acclaim and has been nominated for Grammy Awards.
