Cutting Crew was an English pop-rock band formed in 1985. The group was founded by vocalist Nick Van Eede and Canadian guitarist Kevin Scott MacMichael. They are best known for their debut single, "(I Just) Died in Your Arms," which topped the charts in the United States. Active until 1993, the band released several albums and achieved international recognition during their career. Their music contributed to the pop-rock genre with its melodic hooks and emotive lyrics.
