
Creed is an American rock band formed in 1995 in Tallahassee, USA, by vocalist Scott Stapp and guitarist Mark Tremonti. Known for their post-grunge and alternative rock sound, the band achieved massive success with three consecutive multi-platinum albums, including "My Own Prison", "Human Clay", and "Weathered". Their hit singles, such as "With Arms Wide Open" and "Higher", dominated the charts in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Selling over 28 million records in the United States, Creed became one of the best-selling bands of the 2000s. Their contributions helped define the post-grunge era of rock music.
