Crazy Frog is a computer-animated character created in 2002–2003 by Swedish designer Эриком Вернквистом . The character became famous thanks to a sound effect created by 17-year-old Swede Даниэлем Мальмедалем in 1997, which imitated the sound of a moped engine. The rights to Crazy Frog were sold to Jamba! leading to its popularity in advertising and the music industry. Its most famous hit was a remix of the song "Axel F" which topped the charts in several countries. Crazy Frog has significantly contributed to the popularization of dance music and digital characters in pop culture.
