Clutch is an American rock band from Germantown, Maryland, formed in 1990. The band performs hard rock and stoner rock. Over a career spanning over thirty years, Clutch has released over a dozen studio albums, including such works as "Blast Tyrant" and "Earth Rocker" The band is known for its energetic live performances, having played over 2,000 concerts worldwide. Clutch also owns their own label Weathermaker , through which they release their recordings. Their contributions to the development of stoner rock and hard rock have made them a cult band in these genres.
