CHYP-NOTIC is a German pop and dance trio formed in 1988 in Cologne. Initially called Toys , the band changed its name to CHYP-NOTIC after signing with Coconut Records . During their existence, the band released two albums and several singles, including the popular track " Nothing Compares 2 U " Their final release was the 1994 single " Don't Break The Heart ," recorded with new vocalist Greg Ellis . CHYP-NOTIC made their mark on '90s dance music with their melodic hits and vibrant sound.
