Frank Churchill is an American composer born on October 20, 1901. He is best known for his work on the scores for Disney animated films, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), The Three Little Pigs, Bambi, Dumbo, and The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. Churchill won an Academy Award and was twice nominated for this prestigious award. He was also named a Disney Legend for his contribution to the development of animation music. His work has left a significant mark on the history of animated film scores.
