
Chuck Leavell is an American musician born in 1952, known for his contributions to rock, country, and blues. A key member of the Allman Brothers Band during their commercial peak in the 1970s, he later co-founded the group Sea Level. Since 1982, he has served as the principal touring keyboardist and musical director for The Rolling Stones, contributing to nearly all their studio albums since 1983, except "Bridges to Babylon". As a session musician, he has collaborated with Eric Clapton, George Harrison, David Gilmour, Gov't Mule, and John Mayer. His work has left a lasting impact on rock and blues music.
