
Chris Robinson (born December 20, 1966) is an American musician who works in the soul and rock genres. He founded the rock band The Black Crowes with his brother, Rich Robinson in 1984. Chris is the band's lead singer, and the brothers remain the only constant members. From 2011 to 2019, he also served as the vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the Chris Robinson Brotherhood , which disbanded following the death of guitarist Neal Casal . The Black Crowes are known for hits such as "She Talks to Angels" and "Hard to Handle" Robinson made a significant contribution to the development of blues-rock.
