Chris Cagle is an American country music artist born on November 10, 1968. Initially gaining recognition as a songwriter for David Kersh, he signed with Virgin Records Nashville in 2000. His debut single, "My Love Goes On and On", charted on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks, and his first album, "Play It Loud", achieved gold certification in the U.S. The album featured hits like "Laredo" and "I Breathe In, I Breathe Out", the latter becoming his only No. 1 hit. Chris Cagle is celebrated for his contributions to modern country music.
