Chicory Tip is a British pop group originating from Maidstone, England. Formed in the late 1960s, they gained prominence in the early 1970s with their unique blend of glam rock and pop. Their most notable hit, "Son of My Father", released in 1972, became a chart-topping success in the UK and is recognized as one of the first mainstream songs to feature a Moog synthesizer. The band released several other tracks during their career, including "What's Your Name" and "Good Grief Christina". Chicory Tip contributed to the evolution of synthesizer use in pop music, leaving a lasting mark on the genre.
