Charlie Gracie (full name: Charles Anthony Graci ) is an American musician, singer, and guitarist, born in 1936 in the United States. He became the first star of Philadelphia rock and roll and one of the first regulars on the television program American Bandstand . In 1957, his hit "Butterfly" topped Billboard Hot 100 and also entered the top thirty UK Singles Chart .
