Чарли Чаплин (real name Сэр Чарльз Спенсер Чаплин ) was a British and American composer, actor, and director, born in 1889 in the United Kingdom. He became famous for creating the character of Charlie the Tramp, who first appeared in short comedies of the 1910s. From 1914, Чаплин began directing films, writing scripts, and composing music.
