Cedric Burnside is an American blues musician born in 1978. Hailing from the United States, he is a guitarist, drummer, singer, and songwriter specializing in electric blues. The grandson of legendary bluesman R.L. Burnside and son of drummer Calvin Jackson, Cedric Burnside has collaborated with numerous artists, including Jesse Mae Hemphill, Kenny Brown, and the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. Known for his dynamic drumming and soulful guitar work, he has performed both live and in studio with acts like T-Model Ford and Jimmy Buffett. Cedric Burnside continues to honor and innovate within the blues tradition.
